yeah I call that the " don't crash and get hurt"... I got a lot of work to do on "air" to say the least...all I really did there was limit the height in favor of distance to make the landing easier...hopefully we see some real pow next year vs the perpetual boilerplate we had most of this season...I'd like to do more trix and park stuff but being on the + side of fifty I can't just "go for it" and hope for the best...

here's another little clip from saturday liv4ski shot and compiled...it's a series of stills edited into a GIF and converted to youtube...again they look a lot better if you open them up full screen and use 1080HD as they are all high res pics from his camera...

thanks again to liv4ski for shooting and compiling this stuff... :like

I've been working on my levitating technique, ya don't score many points for turns but the ride is much smoother... :mrgreen:

the madhatter is fired up this morning as I found a brand new pair of tiny pink skis w bindings ( rev 85/163) for @ tree fitty shipped...I LOVE these skis and was very happy to find them still available thru amazon as most places are out of stock as the ski was discontinued after the 2015 season...
How tall is this guy? Is he going to be a jockey at the Belmont Stakes?

And your hands should be forward when your in the air. Not the 70's spread eagle look.

ya gonna be there to help me out this weekend highwaystar? bring yer bike too... and some beer, maybe something for the grill too...

I'm always on the fence about the helmet but in the end I always end up putting it on.... A good buddy of mine, seen here in this pic ( who by the way is an INCREDIBLE skier, the guy can pull a 720 off an ants @ss...) got banged in the head pretty hard just skiing and hitting some sticky snow that caused a double eject, took him along time to get back to feeling good...I'll go w better safe than sorry even if it ain't "cool" ( pun intended)

as far as height goes, you be the judge, looks to be about 10-12 ft or so here :mrgreen: :

actually this does a better job:

http://www.traumaticbraininjury.com/und ... es-of-tbi/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

seriously, once ya get whacked it's hard come back....I like to ski fast and while I don't necessarily take "risky" chances, skiing in and of itself is taking chances, throw in some pitch, bumps, air and the like and well, hopefully the helmet is enough should something go wrong...

madhatter, a psychiatrist would have a field day with you want and need issues. Maybe you should go see one.

I tried making it full screen like you said, but it doesn't look any better....

That in mind, I still think the Hatter could show Humpty a couple of things, once he gets the "oh sh*t I'm 3 feet in the air!" arm flailing fixed. See Batman for that.

c'mon it wasn't quite that bad but yep I'm lookin' fer a coach...

I can see I am kinda back at the take off which is why I had to do what I did to get forward and stick the landing...at least I can get back in the front seat before the ground comes up and tackles me...the takeoff pretty much dictates the rest and I'm not all that confident in the launch sequence right yet...I'm tryin', it ain't as easy it looks....baby steps...
I call that the " don't crash and get hurt"... I got a lot of work to do on "air" to say the least...all I really did there was limit the height in favor of distance to make the landing easier
I'll be the first to admit I got a lot of work to do in the air dept...any volunteer coaches?
