Three for Park City in 2015 at the NEW Park City Mountain Resort.

- New 8 passenger Quicksilver Gondola linking PC and The Canyons.
- King Con was upgraded from a 4-person to 6-person high-speed detachable chair.
- Motherlode was switched from a fixed-grip triple to a 4-person high-speed detachable.

Coulda woulda shoulda, POWDR!

These don't count as new chairs but it was monumental for Alta skiers:

2011 - Alta added SAFETY BARS to the Collins, Sugarloaf and Supreme lifts. Not that most local skiers use 'em!

Also at some point in the last few years, the Supreme chair had that magic carpet for increased loading capacity.

Snowbird -
2012 - Little Cloud upgraded from that slow double to HS detachable 4 (same lift line)
2013 - Gad 2 double replaced by a HS quad (same lift line)

And Snowbird received approval this year to expand down the Gulch from Mineral Basin.

Installed a new track on the Ski doo to drag me up my 150+/- of vert. Does that count? Bad snow year in NH. Didn't see any use this season. I feel like poor MRG. "Id rather not ski it if I can." I'll still call it new and use it for next season.

No, the Burke HSQ was purchased new in 2005. Crotched Mountain in NH bought the Ascutney HSQ in 2012.

A second high speed quad was announced for the 2011-12 season, though installation hit some snags. Initially intended to be a refurbished lift from Ascutney, negotiations didn't work out. As a result, a new Leitner-Poma high speed quad was purchased, opening on Christmas Eve.

The "Lower Mountain" consists of mostly Beginner terrain and is accessed by a high-speed detachable quad chairlift. There is also a "Bunny Slope" accessed by a J-bar surface lift. A beginner carpet lift was installed in 2010 to make the learning progression easier for first time skiers. There are a couple of terrain parks and a beginner glade (Enchanted Forest) here as well. This section of the mountain also has lift served mountain biking during non-snow months. The main Sherburne Base Lodge services this section of the resort. This lodge contains the rental shop, restaurant/bar, retail shop, and cafeteria.

The "Upper Mountain" consists of predominantly Intermediate and Advanced terrain. Trails on the upper mountain are accessed via two lifts, a high-speed Poma surface lift and a high-speed quad chairlift (Mid-Burke Express), installed for the 2011–2012 season.[2]
so actually it looks like they got two new lifts there, though none were from ascutney...
