Let me amend that. It was snowing in the Vale lot where I was sitting for a moment before heading home. By the Ike I got down to the Basin it was starting to change over to r*in but then, as I approached Route 4, it was snowing again. Looks like it's going to be a mixed bag at least for a while.

Highly unlikely, unless you count happy hours and Bay 1 only days.skiadikt wrote:yo bubba 100 days?Bubba wrote:Snowing nicely.

From what I saw on radar through the night what ever fell, fell as liquid. Significant melting and puddles at 1700 feet, 41 degrees.Jim wrote:r*in tonight?

Better than what there was true.... But quite a bit below what it had been built up to be.
Tomorrow should still be fun (awesome is likely an overstatement).

6:26 am 01/04/17--Surprise - 3 inches of snow fell overnight. Before you get too excited though, read on. We might have some operational challenges this morning.
We were blessed with extra cold weather Monday night, so our snowmakers got bonus hours to run spot guns on key zones around the resort, plus trail segments like lower Header and lower Bittersweet, along with all of Superstar. Tuesday's weather was less than ideal, but limited precipitation and temps near freezing meant we didn't lose much terrain, and are just dealing with some temporary closures until temps drop again Wednesday night and our snowmakers can get back to work.
