If you like smooth soft groomies, which I know you and Mrs GIS do, this is your time to shine. Ski soft groomies for an hr. chill for an hr once it gets chewed up than ski the freshly ripened soft corn.madhatter wrote:yer catching on...MrsG wrote:32 degrees , light wind, cloudy . . . definitely an extra cup of coffee this morning
If I didn't have something to do at 10 I would of been out there bright and squirely. See you guys at 11

Yikes, looking out the slider - there is not one branch moving, not even a flutter through the pine needles - weird!!!!
49 degrees, and still bluebird skies:)
Enjoyed the somewhat skied off groomers, and then the soft snow later . . . liked the Sup pod better than K1 or the triple!!

^^ well that should help hold off the black flies for a bit... Though the larvae that survive are gonna be extra mean when they grow up!

I hope so - and I hope not! Yikes!
Hey does anyone know if Picaridin based bug sprays really do work well on humans? I have given up on the hippy natural stuff. They suck and you can actually hear the freaking mosquitos giggling while they suck you dry if your ears are good enough. I have to drive across northern Ontario in a few weeks and am trying to properly arm myself.
In a world where you can be anything, why not choose to be kind...

I have not tried that stuff yet, but have been using Repel lemon eucalyptus for ticks this spring. It does smell funny!killyfan wrote:buckethead wrote:^^ well that should help hold off the black flies for a bit... Though the larvae that survive are gonna be extra mean when they grow up!

Good luck up in Canada with the bugs. When we drove across Labrador on Rt 500 in August the black flies were still very hungry!
