My friend recently acquired the Highline Lodge. If you are looking for a quiet happy hour place this may be the place to go. I am not sure about what they have available at the bar because I only went there for dinner and had a great meal.
Here is a picture of the bar area:

No good answer without more information. What do you want to eat and what do you want to spend?Jim wrote:Where would you go on Sunday night with a buddy for dinner?

Definitely more casual but also not as casual as Baja. Good beer list is a must.Bubba wrote:No good answer without more information. What do you want to eat and what do you want to spend?Jim wrote:Where would you go on Sunday night with a buddy for dinner?

Domenic's, Italian and pizza, decent tap line, sliders at happy hour.Jim wrote:Definitely more casual but also not as casual as Baja. Charities, std american, sometimes a few interesting beer outliers.
Sushi Yoshi, Chinese/Japanese/Hibachi, best beer on the access rd, no contest. 20 taps, no Macro.
Outback wood fired pizza, I think 8 taps, usually something worthwhile but not inspired
Garlic, Italian, about 12 taps, better, but also more expensive and a la carte
Lookout, mainstream VT beer, (Long trail, Switchback, and Macros) The place to be for apres, but not for exquisite beer. Free peanuts. Burgers, et al.
Worthy Kitchen, Woodstock, very good food, short menu, and excellent beer. 30 min drive
Long Trail Brewery Bridgewater, pub food, some "reserved" selections, 15 min drive, closes at 7pm

Sounds like Sushi Yoshi it is!
