RustyK was spot on with his post in this thread !!
Goes to show, you don't never know
Watch each card you play, and play it slow
Don't you let that deal go down
Don't you let that deal go down
Looks like its going down no matter what I do !!!

Bahaha! Maybe you SHOULD get with the times...yiddle on da fiddle wrote:Thank you...I shall. AS a foodie ...AND a very good cook?....I'm more than comfortable with my take on food...and clever workups in my beloved K kitchen. FYI?....soup n salad...never go out of style. They are internationally timeless... a true prelude to a meal forthcoming. As has been echoed for decades?...thats why Howard Johnsons has 28 flavors... something for everybody. Enjoy your....whatever... may it satiate your appetite and fill yer belly.
Maybe it was Baskin-Robbins 31 flavors you were thinking of?As of February 2018, two Howard Johnson's restaurants remain in Ocala, FL and Lake George, NY (though it does not seem to have a regular operating schedule) The line of branded supermarket frozen foods, including ice cream, is no longer manufactured.

No, sorry not before my time. It was released in 1974. AND we had a Ho-Jo's on Aquidneck Island, where I grew up. Spent enough time eating late night snacks after last call, many years ago.yiddle on da fiddle wrote:Ummmm?.. NO. Perhaps..it is YOU ........that should get with.."the times'. But the point was, which you seemed to miss... was that you used it as an example of great food options on the Acess rd, when in reality, they are basically out of business.thats why Howard Johnsons has 28 flavors...

Went to Mountain Top last weekend - really good - good beer on Tap as well - almost as good as the Yosh
Cool bar/tavern and a great New England view.

This is a true statement. I do like Sysco. It may be boilerplate, but you get on time deliveries.SnoBrdr wrote:You really don't have a clue.skibikeclimbguy wrote:Pretty much every restaurant on the road is supplied by Sysco. It’s ALL the same sh*t. Comparing Moguls to Casey’s is futile. Just choose your preference of 80’s decor, 90’s presentation, and sh*t service.
Credit to Preston’s and Highline Lodge for trying to step up the game.
Rod Stewart at Choices will bring you tuna tartare in a martini glass. Patrick Bateman would be proud.
While Sysco may supply a lot of items, the good places source their meats, fish and other main course ingredients from other places.

From their www: Being the Chef, the menu has always featured everything being made in-House and in addition to the basic stocks, sauces, dressings, meat and fish cutting, I included our own bread, desserts and fresh pasta."
What a douche. So Chef Claude includes a soup or salad with dinner. OMG he must reallllly suck! Hey, I'm sure Claude would love to eliminate that expense. Love these people who have no clue about the restaurant business and don't appreciate the efforts put forth. Being in the restaurant business my entire life, I cant imagine the endless challenges the restaurants on the hill have to endure to stay open. Bad weather, lack of skilled employees, shortened seasons, to name a few. Kudos to them for keeping their doors open for us. Don't like it? Leave. Or better yet, give the restaurant business a try for yourself and GOOD LUCK!

Re: Killington Restaurants - Sysco
Most restaurants on K road are good. Some better then others. I'm not gonna point to any. I can't say any suck or any are awesome. Some are wayyyy overpriced! Most of the time on busy weekends we'd rather just pickup sandwiches at Phat Italian and go back to our condo and eat in peace anyway. We only hit a restaurant every now and then on non busy times. I've also never encountered bad service in the 27 years I've been coming to K. Usually the people that complain the most about bad service are usually the PITA that harasses the employees over stupid sh*t!
