All lifts on hold except Snowshed. 10 am for Bear. Maybe.

As usual, the conditions report is garbage. FIX THIS!! I’m in Bear Lodge, and talked to Randy (mt ops guy).

LIFT DELAYS THIS MORNING
Snowshed Express Quad will open at 8:00 a.m., all other lifts delayed until 9:00.

Think they are indicating changes and not changing time posted.

Now:

ALL LIFTS EXCEPT SNOWSHED DELAYED UNTIL 10:00 A.M.
LIFT DELAYS THIS MORNING
Snowshed Express Quad will open at 8:00 a.m., all other lifts delayed until 9:00.

Maybe also mention that it is only the double open and not the Snowshed Express!! This is truly a disappointing way to handle - not much they can do when Mother Nature is in control, but please maybe be more on top of updates!!! It's been done before!!

I heard 11am opening now on Ktv. Conditions page is a joke. Apparently mix of trails icing up after grooming, ice on lift cables, and wind up top. Sounds enticing...

They've gotten better.

Report now says in big bold type that lifts are delayed until 10:00. Then, highlighted in yellow, it says delayed until 11:00, both indicating Snowshed is open. Eventually they'll get it straight.

Spoke to an ambassador who said the lifts are fine but the surface keeps refreezing after they run over it with a groomer.

Pink on a radar map is generally a good indicator of lifts not operating.
