Teams that train at Altera resorts which are not open have Icon passes. They are training 5 days at Killington to use up pass days and get some early on snow time in. Not all of the other resorts are putting the extra effort in that Killington is. Even rode up the lift with a Sugarbush refugee. Didn't notice any issues with the young adults or kids training. Think more of an issue with people skiing East Fall today who haven't put much time in on the snow.

Let me get this straight? So overprivileged sno flakes from out of state can come and ski at will? No quarantine? I'm sure i didn't hurt Killingtons numbers by not renewing my 365. I knew this BS would happen. Honest people stay home. I can't cross the river to ski? They can truck them in by the van full? I'm starting to think Mike has some integrity issues. Too bad. I like Mike. He's running a two faced operation. I really thought better of him. I guess money talks. Quarantine walks. :bull

Afternoon Report: I guess we made out pretty good later in the day w.r.t. not really that crowded [but could see parking lot pretty full] and no issue with wind or liftlines. Pretty good skiing as well, and certainly better for me than the afternoon before.

ROTD: East Fall. They really blew some quality snow on it, but not so good on aiming the guns [thanx for the crevasse pix !]. Mistakingly tried to go to the left of the first open water area and that was a mistake with plenty of rocks showing. Most of the snow blew over to the skiers right side of the trail. Very 'choppy' bumps, as can be expected with early season herbs sliding down, but great snow and nice to be able to lap off the canyon quad in decent weather.

Agree Downdraft HW pretty good again. Not my favorite trail, but a nice alternative to have in this early season mish mash of runs.

Rime left side bumps not much different than past coupla days. Really need some wet snow to get in there and fill in the troughs. Upper Double Dipper open but nothing special [and very crusty if you try to go off piste left].

Everything else skied pretty good, yet not fantastic with Mouse Trap being the next favorite. Starting to be able to pinch to the right a bit on it.
