Re: Poaching
Well you know, OpenAI is running into some trouble about using copyrighted material to train it's large language models. Maybe they've moved on to new, more fertile training grounds.

I did throw the chatter link on Reddit the other day around this time...might be the bots :)

Re: Poaching
Is it a poach if you walk up to gate at Snowshed all dressed with equipment, and reach pass in, get counted, and blatantly turn around and leave?

Re: Poaching
Don’t think it’s a poach if it’s open. However it may be dubious as far as ones day count goes

Ski It If You Can!..

Isn't it the thought that counts? Even if you are in full gear?Killington_Lover wrote: ↑Jan 11th, '24, 13:59Don’t think it’s a poach if it’s open. However it may be dubious as far as ones day count goes![]()

No, a Shortski is ride to the peak, have a martini, a beer, repeat, and ride down.

Re: Poaching
riding the bear chair saw a lone skier struggling down OL. there was a patroller at the bottom waiting to "welcome" him. given the conditions and location, not the smartest poach. also saw some folks on lower o. imagine that was fun.

Re: Poaching
ah yes the open woods policy defense. yer honor, i ducked no ropes. why didn't the 100 sucka's who got their passes pulled think of that. actually if this guy went through any woods to get there, we'd probably be reading his obit.

Open woods. Must enter from and exit to open trails.
Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.
