Ok “Daytripper”.
Re: Wednesday - 1/24/24 More Lift Issues
You seem upset - maybe you should make some more turns. Unless of course you don't wanna take the Northbrook Quad to the Superstar quad to make turns in the Needles Eye area. I can understand why that would make you so upset.makemoreturns wrote: ↑Jan 24th, '24, 11:49 Where do you work? Is there a public forum dedicated to criticizing your performance? Would you publicly call out people if your real name was attached to your stupid posts?

In the last sixteen years, K has moved and replaced the Snowdon lift, replaced the NR lift, and refurbished the K1.
Is that a lot? It doesn't feel like a lot.

Daytripper can ski and drink you under the table. BTW In most businesses I have known employees get fired for publicly trashing customers.
Don't Deer Valley Killington!

Re: Wednesday - 1/24/24 More Lift Issues
I’m sure no new lifts this summer. Everyone else doing them have announced this in the past months.
Regarding that - some more huge lift projects on tap with DoppGang leading the way. Longest 8 pack in world going in at Big Sky. Many of the proposed ones starting at new Deer Valley south or whatever trash they are calling that. They have contract for all of them, something like 3 this year and 9 next year all gondolas and high speed 4/6
Powdr better get in line for whatever they might want.

I’m not upset. You’re the ones that do nothing but complain 24/7. Go to Okemo already!

We don't even need brand new lifts. Overhauls will do. LPOA is just up the road, a rehabilitation of Skyeship and Needle Eye should be easy to accomplish in one summer. Look at Stowe a few years back, they even rehabbed existing cabins. That gondola is similar and a few years older than Skyeship. A rehab shouldn't break the bank at all. They wait long enough the Tramway Board might just force them to do it.Downdraft wrote: ↑Jan 24th, '24, 13:13 I’m sure no new lifts this summer. Agreed, neither lift needs to be replaced. But perhaps instead of creaming themselves about the World Cup and the Village they can start to address some of these issues which aren't going away. If it takes replacing all 4 terminals and the cabins on Skyeship then so be it.

Almost 3pm and now Stage II is on hold due to icing - 8 hours and you couldn't de-ice a lift.

Re: Wednesday - 1/24/24 More Lift Issues
I get the sense that all Powdr cares about is the village and the world cup. Anything that isn't directly tied to either one, they don't care about. It's embarrassing that what should be a top tier resort, can't keep up on basic maintenance of their lifts and snowmaking.newpylong1 wrote: ↑Jan 24th, '24, 14:19 Agreed, neither lift needs to be replaced.
