double dip closed today. guessing it froze over and was wind glazed.

snowmaking today on header. GB ttb. a few on the lower section of upper chute though the whole trail is wired. dreammaker park and grizzly. skied through the park and thought those guns were "wimpy". a few on the section off bear claw heading to WF. they were building huge piles on lower skye hawk. and spots here & there.

From a distance Header looked very spotty, like 2 guns. 1 at the base and one at the first Easy Street crossover.

Saw the lower Hawk guns also. What's with that? Has to be the least needed spot on the mtn for manmade. Useless in Spring as well.

Thanx. Not sure I recall them being on for two full days, but not going to argue with you.

Next Question: Why is it closed ?

kinda remember them doing that on hawk last year as well, stockpiling it for skye lark in the spring.

Did they send the snow makers home early after another brutal weekend of loosing money? 18 degrees at the peak any sign of any guns setting up? Sort of feeling like they've given up. They haven't even groomed out the whales they made on Dipper, they just closed it instead.

Did they make enough snow on dreamaker to build the park before it warmed up? What about the stash? I wish they would put the snow for the stash on the supe pod. I don't think ovation has seen any manmade yet either.

I don't think they lost money this weekend. It was packed on Saturday. Full parking lots. But doesn't surprise me that they gave up on snowmaking.

saw 4 snowmakers at the bottom of shorty digging out that hdk tower. maybe 18 degrees at the summit but warmer down towards bear with probably 100% humidity. that's not the wet bulb they're looking for. suspect they'll fire up tonight and continue on dreammaker and also on the stash (they mentioned those two when they shut down last week).

upper wildfire also could use a round of snowmaking and as tripper mentioned, ovation's received nada. after those are done, maybe they run them overnight on the fiddle. that would probably be it for expansion.

Definitely junk snowmaking conditions currently, they'll come back online tonight when they can put something down.

Dreammaker and the Stash both need a lot more.

Strange they have no equipment set up in the pipe, even the middle. Guess they may just shoot people out towards Skyeclaw above the pipe?
