Another thread hijacked and ruined by the asshats.

If you are referring to my post in anyway, would you like to meet to discuss it in person man to man? I don’t think reading comprehension is one of your strong points so maybe a discussion would work.DES wrote: ↑Jun 5th, '24, 08:55If you are referring to my post in any way, what would you have done, waited behind 3 pairs of skis for the 2nd chair? (again, obviously I didn’t care enough to have it affect me at the time, I wasn’t going to have an argument with them prior to a powday chair load as I mentioned I just turned my music back up)

Lots of tough guys round here lately.

I know how the “quote” functions works. If it was directed at you, I would have used it. Thanks for worrying about my reading ability. I guess someone has a guilty conscience.DES wrote: ↑Jun 11th, '24, 06:49If you are referring to my post in anyway, would you like to meet to discuss it in person man to man? Me a guilty conscience? That’s funny. I re-quoted this because I obviously was looking for a reply from one simple question.

Doesn't count in my book if there's a month+ gap.

Seems a bit weird, embarrassing even. Might even backfire if the product isn't worth what they're charging. Reminds me of this:Mister Moose wrote: ↑Jun 6th, '24, 08:10 For the Solstice:
We're stockpiling and covering snow this winter from our Stateside Carpet area adjacent to our Amphitheater. For June 22nd we will push out what we have left into a terrain park with boxes and rails serviced by the carpet. Session the park while enjoying the live music. We'll also have some skateboarding features set up to make this a multisport music event to remember.
A very limited number of on-snow tickets will be available in 1-hour blocks from Noon-4pm or for the full-day (Noon-4p).
One hour: $50 - All four hours (noon-4p): $100
A concert pass is included with each on-snow pass.
Highway Star would be proud.

It's a concert...$30 for four bands. There's a skateboard park. And beer. And if you want to get on snow for an hour you pay an extra 20. This sounds really fun. What's not to like about it? I can't go, but if I did I'd pay the extra $20.

Very happy I saw this PSA. I'm signed up to get my time on slush. I'd rather drive to Jay. The indoor ski place in NJ is the only other option.

outdoor slush, sun (hopefully) music seems more fun than the indoor rink in nj. the indoor venue would be much better imo if one could access from directly from a tailgate friendly parking setup, some skylights and or fake LED sky and vistas, more interesting terrain options.
i'd rather see a more extreme setup next door, putting a ski trail system over of the metlife stands, with large runout on field.
the outdoor event would be more inviting if it had real vert. 300 ft with a little pitch and maybe i'm there.
magic did a similar saved snow park thing last summer.
btw, we're already nearly 20% through the off-season for skiing ;0]

Not the best weather. Not sure why K couldn't do the same for pass holders.

One woman was there proclaiming she was the unicorn of K. She needs to contact me. I'd ski with her any day.

kudos. looks pretty cool. no idea how they preserved that snow so long. there hasn't been a flake left anywhere at K for a while. wonder if those are shavings from the ice rink.

hay and tarps is my guess. Roundtop (PA) used to keep snow for a summer rail jam. they'd push it in a pile cover it with straw and tarp it. Then they'd scoop it into a truck and take it to carnival and do a rail jam.
