I'd rather see a truck from somewhere off the top of glades to the K-1.....much, much better.

That would be a treck... they would probably only wreck 1-2 trucks trying to do that a couple times a day. The work road between those two points is not what it is, between the bottom of the canyon quad and the kbl.

It's the East Coast... you should be used to it, and why the hell are you blaming the weather patterns on the resorts? They're in the business to make money, not go into debt so you can go ski a week earlier.

Ummm..no offense, but if you think the terrain at Killington is vastly more challenging than Stratton or Okemo, you are doing one of the following:

1. Vastly overestimating the difficulty of Killington's terrain.

2. Vastly underestimating difficulty Okemo and Stratton's terrain (sounds like you don't know where to go)

3. A combination of the two.

It is curious that so many "extreme" "experts" thumb their down noses down at Stratton and Okemo, acting like Killington is some sort of mecca for the truly advanced. Got to tell you, you have to hit some other places.

It's like Buick owner telling a Pontiac owner that Pontiac's suck. Look under the hood. Very little difference between the two, folks. But whatever. If it makes you feel tough, good. Stay at ASC with all of the rest of the World Machismo Champs. And I'll visit you a couple times a year on a discount pass. You can punch me in the face.

But just to let you know, I have never complained about the mountain ops of the places that my season pass $$$ goes.

I've been a passholder at Stratton and skied Okemo a reasonable amount. Both are pretty good mountains, and lots of fun to ski at. I think Killington has more steeps, and more trees though, but not enough to justify bagging on the other two.

Are you actually comparing the difficulty of Stratton/Okemo to Killington?
What do you mean, "don't know where to go"? Okemo is by far the most boring f*** mountain I have ever seen when it comes to difficulty. Let's be serious, they have "double diamond" glades with snowmaking on them... You cannot take away that these two places put more back into the mountain and have a better product than Killington but, lol, I can't even believe you made that statement. Big Bang at Jackson Gore is no more difficult than Skyeburst, seriously.

If Flattin and P-Okemo-N are so good, why do many of the employee
spouces ski at Killington, and why would employees of these places
purchase a Killington pass. They seldom ski their home mountain when
not working and will tell you why.
