Chug a beer then do 25 full squats with a weight you can usually do 15 with.
Repeat as necessary. First to puke loses.
Winner gets to bench press HS until he cries.

I live in K and ski most days.
Also, I don't generaly poach, I'm loyal to my wife, and I only go out drinking occasionally.
Of course, many of the bartenders know me and I get the "local's price and local's pour" on my drinks.
I don't do crowded happy hour at the Lookout, but I'm proud to call Phil a friend.
I guess that makes me a great big nerd instead of one of the cool kids.
Geez, I must be weak too.
I can squat 405 for reps, but have a lifetime single-rep max of only 315 on the bench.
That's a lotta weight for "reps". I stay in the low 300's (for reps). I wonder what BK does for a squat ... since he does a 405 flat, his squat should be 500+newpylong wrote:You squat 8 plates for reps????

Before I tore up my meniscus or after? Before contest best was 625 (or whatever 285 kilos works out to exactly) 500 for sets of 8. Now I rarelyXtremeJibber2001 wrote:That's a lotta weight for "reps". You sound like a buddy of mine during his prime, a frickin monster!BigKahuna13 wrote: Before I tore up my meniscus or after? Before contest best was 625 (or whatever 285 kilos works out to exactly) 500 for sets of 8. Now I rarely
go above 350. Mostly keepin' it light for lots of reps these days.
We used to horse around and see who could squat bodyweight for the most reps. My best was around 30-35. My friend Steve - who was ADFPA National and World champ at 220 for 5 or 6 years running - did
58 or 60 or something obscene like that. He puked his guts out afterward. That was pretty funny to watch.......
A friend's son swears by Cross Fit. Been reading up on it at their website andnewpylong wrote:My Boss does this sh*t called Cross Fit... every heard of it?? Pretty nasty.. like 300 air squats, situps, pullups, etc. You don't stop till you do them all..

I have to admit, I once was dork. But after many, many years of hard work, I'm now one of the cool kids.
Heres a few hints....
You might be cool, if:
- You're a single dude and you've slept with 2 or more women at Killington this year, and they aren't horse-ugly
- You go out to the bars at least one a weekend and actually talk to people
- You go to happy hour at the Lookout
- You're under 40, or at least act like you're under 40
- You think poaching is cool
- You can actually ski
You might be a dork if:
- You never go out
- You never get laid
- You go to happy hour at the grist mill
- You religiously show up for the 10 am meeting
- You take posting on k-zone pretty seriously
- You never break the rules, including poaching
- You can ski, but only if it's grrrroomed
EH???
Maybe you haven't met enough of the regulars on this site.......icedtea wrote:Highway Star wrote:Inquiring minds want to know....are you one of the cool kids, or are you a dork/nerd? What is K-zone populated by?
