Saw you people working the course all day. Kudos lots of effort people don't see goes into making these events happen. Nice job on the catch fences.180 wrote:We built, shaped and made 3 lines today. Sun will come out, the Comp will be great. Some real talent from many places.

Re: BMMC?
Considering how bad Highline looked earlier this week, it's amazing how good the course looks. Kudos to all who worked so hard to pull this off.shortski wrote:Saw you people working the course all day. Kudos lots of effort people don't see goes into making these events happen. Great costume but would have been funnier if he was riding a donkey.

Re: BMMC?
From experience, highline course is steeper than the OL course which is on the lower portion of OL and gets less steep than Highline. Under the opening conditions, Highline is much worse than the lower sections of OL, especially under icy conditions.skiadikt wrote:was there wednesday and things did not look encouraging at all. really sounds like you guys pulled off a miracle. kudos to all involved. it's why k will always be "the beast". have fun everyone.180 wrote:We built, shaped and made 3 lines today. Don't believe me? Try working on the steep of highline just for an alpine race and tell me it isn't as bad. Bump course was at the middle of that steep.

It sounds like having the event over at K 1 got the K Zone seal of approval! Do you think that it will be held at K 1 from now on? How about a new name if it is.
