Where in this thread did I say I'm going to be in NY? I gave directions to Rick's (I used to live in Valley Cottage so I know where it is!) and I suggested the date and time for a group to meet there, however, I did not say that I, personally and in the flesh, would be attending.

If I recall, sir, you stated a Rick's meet might be a good idea as you had to travel to the NY area in July. You then suggested July 26th? or 28th? at a specific time of 7:30, changed to 7:00 PM. Now, if you have no intention of being present, and did not intend to travel to the NY area (not NYC) then how did this get started?Bubba wrote:Let me rephrase my answer, for those that failed English Comprehension and/or Logic:Jodi wrote:Let me rephrase the question for those of you that haven't had a second cup of coffe yet:Bubba wrote:Did I say anything about being there myself?Jodi wrote:Yanks are in town that week. I'm thinking Tuesday, July 26th, around 7:30 PM.
Why would you post that, then change the time, if you were not gonna be there?
Geeezzzzzz, and all I was asking was if you wanted to go to a game. Well, do ya?

The suggestion of a date and time did not, in and of itself, commit me to actually being there. I cannot answer the second question, about going to a game, without suggesting a commitment and, as we all know, men don't like commitments.Jodi wrote: Where in this thread did I say I'm going to be in NY? Hmm, proof that Jodi is Junior or they both post under the same name and share the PC? A mis-spelling from another board carried to here by Jodi? And the word is Hyperbole, mis-spelled due to one hand typing, but used properly in the sentence.Jodi wrote:O.K. Let me know if you want to go when you finally know. Ummmm, Doc....you were the one who misspelled the word, not me and not Bruce. Yes we post from the same 2 PC's.
