Subject: Officially defected to Sugarbush
Hi all,
After 12 years of season passes for me, 10 for XXXXXX,
11 of 12 and 13 of 16 years in ski houses all at
Killington/Pico we defected to Sugarbush. Moved into
a small condo, picked up the season pass and got out
skiing yesterday.
Should be interesting to see how things are at
Sugarbush now that the new owner has had some time to
fix things up a bit. Actually met the new owner in
one of the mid-mountain lodges yesterday. Try that at
killington.
So you'll all have to come up and visit so we have
people to ski with! The number for the condo is 802
XXX-XXXX.

Here's an email from a friend I very recently shared a seasonal rental with (personal info X'ed out for obvious reasons)...
Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.

Here is the one I got..
I am passing this on to you because it definitely works and we could
all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice
heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace.
Dr Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all
the things you have started and have never finished."
So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and
hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off
a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish
Cream, a bottle of Kalhua, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates.
You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now. Please pass
this on to those whom you think might be in need of inner peace.

As stated elsewhere, they are looking to attract those that can afford to purchase those dream homes and condos that the town of Killington will now BLOCK due to piss poor relations and interactions by the mountain. Figure the 6 figure incomes with lots of dispossable burning a hole in the pockets.SuzyQ wrote:If Killington doesn't want ski clubs, beginners, intermediate, ski house people, day trippers and weekend warriors;than who the F do they want?

Not so sure. Check the price of a room at the Pitcher Inn in Warren.SuzyQ wrote:People who are that high and mighty will go out to Aspen. They would be too bored in rural Vermont.
