looks like everyone's on line and no one's on the hill.

there's no doubt that if mama nature cooperated and k opened say nov. 1, that the place would be packed.

doesn't look as busy as A-basin from those pictures, but I imagine it is as it is 1000ft of vert as opposed to 500ft of vert at a-basin.

game on!...........ok, now im really freakin out and will not be able to concentrate for the rest of the day. the sight of lifts spinning and that beautiful WROD is flashing before my eyes.

will we be making turns in 2, 3, 4 weeks??? im praying to god that we will. oh man, its hittin me hard. its gettin down to the home stretch now.

Impossible. Eastern skiers don't want to ski that early. There's simply no demand for it. Eastern skiers demand a "quality product" and are more than willing to wait until Powdr says the slopes are properly prepared in a quality manner.

it's a fact I never would drice 5&1/2 hours to ski before thanksgiving.not

I would never go to K in the last weekend of October if we had a 12 inch dump. That was a dream I had a few years ago when they opened for the weekend and no one was on the mountian.

Hmm, work for a pittence at K-Mart over my last vacation week or burn some air miles and ski Colorado. I dun know, but if other factors could be removed, COLORADO would be on the plate. I might even consider a long weekend before K-Mart is even open.

But no, you are right, nobody would travel all the way to Loveland or A-Basin for early season skiing. They would have to be MAD!
