2015 Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge KZone Planning

It's that time of year again to plan the KZone campsite for the BMMC on Saturday April 11th.

Last year we had a great site thanks to SkiDork. Many of us helped set it up around 7:00 AM and tore down around 4.

The more help we have, the easier for everyone. Please reply to this thread on what you are planning to bring. Grill, Food, Ect.

The highly anticipated competition and on-snow party returns to Bear Mountain.

The annual competition will heat up again on Saturday as amateur bumpers take to the slopes of Outer Limits to battle for a place in the finals. The top 32 men and 16 women will compete in a head-to-head competition for the mogul challenge cup.

All competitors must check-in at the 3rd floor of Bear Mountain Lodge between 7:00 - 8:30 am on Saturday to pick up competitors bibs.

On Saturday at 9:00 am, competitors will each have one run, then the top 32 men and 16 women will compete in a dual format at approximately 1:00 pm. Pairs of competitors will run a dual course with sudden death format - only the winners remain.

Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place overall male and female winners. The 1st - 4th place winners' names will be engraved on the Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge trophy.

Any men or women who qualify for Finals will be entered to win a week-long trip to Momentum Ski Camp! The drawing for this grand prize will be held at the Pickle Barrel Night Club during the BMMC After Party on the evening of Saturday, April 11, 2015..

Note: The purpose of the Mogul Challenge is to recognize technical superiority and athletic ability.
