Im trying to adopt this puppy

its quite a process. I had to fill out an application, which got "approved". Now I h ave to go meet the dog tomorrow night. If that goes well, the shelter/foundation has to visit my house to see where and how I live to see if its "suitable environment for the dog". If all that gets "approved" I get the pup......I dont think its this hard to adopt a kid

Hey BOOZEY, I can give you some advice on adoption, since I am the person that does the home visits and last approval for Australian Shepard Rescue in VT! If you want, PM me and I'll give you the DO's and DON'TS... have some good tips that will definitately increase your chances... but after meeting you in person, I think you will do fine, got a good vibe from ya!BoozeTan wrote:Im trying to adopt this puppy

You need to fill out a few more papers and get a few more approvals to adopt a baby but it sounds like you will be experiencing a little bit of it when adopting this puppy. Good luck to you.BoozeTan wrote:Im trying to adopt this puppy

Good luck. Our rescued lab mix has turned out to be a wonderful dog. Frisbee athlete, yard de-squirreler, fun loving, sofa snoozing, affectionate, energetic hair factory.
Give 'em lots of exercise and a clear set of rules, and you'll have a great friend.

*edit: get the photo gramer corrected
