Snowdon in May

Post by iRock »

No mention of the Snowdon 6 closing date on the Spring operations page. They mention closing K1 the April 27-28 weekend but nothing on Snowdon. With all that snow stockpiled at the base maybe they plan on going into the first weekend of May at Snowdon??? It makes some sense...no Peak Lodge to run, less staff needed than the gondi.

There gonna have to do a lot of plowing snow to cover the run-out do to the lift around the parking lot every day to keep that going that long.

Very unlikely they will run the bubble past their stated closing of the 21st.

No problem. Killink hike is short.

We'll be lucky to have it tomorrow given the amount of running water on Lower Chute.
It's not ice if there ain't fish under it!
