New Years Eve Afternoon Report: Yep, it froze up last night. Plenty of firm/fast, beach sand, chunky monkey, etc. to go around.

Rode up Skyeship I first time this year thus getting our ticket punched on Great Eastern for our final run. Not a bad call. Rode up with one other person and picked up 2 more at midstation. From Skye Peak, took WROTD on Cruise Control. Lots of peeps and plenty of chunk to get to the lower pitch. That was better, butt I thought it woulda been better.

Up Needle's Eye chair, though dreading what Bittersweet was gonna serve up. Not too bad and able to get down the top half without hitting anyone. Lower section was better yet and though pretty sucky, was OK. Bonus points for being able to get enough speed up for the schelp across K1 to get to Highline in the sun.

ROTD: Highline. Getting there via Full House wasn't anything special; very fast. Highline itself was pretty good though the start was littered with herbs once the bumps started in the narron part next to the race training net up top. After that, pretty good the rest of the way down with mostly soft bumps and some sun. Repeat lap via Upper Royal was even better as we knew what to expect. Butt, that was last run in the sun on it.

Over top of Supe where Skyewalker was great ! Then, into the shadows and beach sand of Bear Trax and Gateway to Bear Claw. Claw / Burst decent with Lower Burst with some ill formed soft bumps. Worth a do-over from the Bear Chair.

Run down to Rte 4 on Great Eastern was worth the price of admission. Snow surface got good at about the Ski On Ski Off complex. Herb entertainment was in full force the entire length of the trail.
