skied afternoon shift until couldn't take cold anymore. pace empty like a weekday. groomers held up well. skyelark good. snowmaking was velvet over at bear. first major dip into trees for us. stayed close to main lines which were skied off but ok. they pretty much ruined tinman with the bike stuff....

Transportation up to Tahole could be your biggest issue. The mountain is sure to have serious lift issues (wind holds/closures) as well, hopefully not the case. And the avi danger will be high. I lived in Tahole in 1982 during a 7' in 4 day storm. Crippled the mountains and the region. Alpine Meadow...

Untracked in Snowdon trees, had to be light on your feet and avoid the heavy edge else you'd encounter some breakable crust underneath. Few inches. Fun stuff

This makes no sense. Last year the K1 ran until 4/27 and Bear was open until at least 4/22. I sure hope this is under promise than over deliver via an extension to the published plans. That would be a travesty. Especially since my kids are on vacation from school from the 20-24th and we plan on ski...
