Not there, not yesterday, and not for any other liftie. 6 sets of lines all waited at the end of their...

Re: Best boot shop?
Ended up going to Surefoot for the full fitting. Today will be day 4 and they’re good so far. May take them back for a tweak to one of the arch supports but want to get another day or two on them to see for sure. Didn’t think I’d use the integrated heaters and ended turning them on in the first hour...

Thanks GIS. For future skis are you going with GTW bindings? If you hit could hit reset on all the gear which setup would you choose?

I didn't even know this was a thing. Seems niche. Anybody have experience with this?

Best boot shop?
Its time for a new set of boots. I have narrow & very flat feet and need a custom fitting.
My current set was done quite a few years ago at The Basin and they did a nice job.
Whats the best place on the access road to go nowadays?

Re: Riding all the lifts
I do that with the kids at least once a year when the mtn is fully open. Extra points if you do every open lift without doubling up on a lift. Plan it right and you can hit them all before lunch but you gotta factor in the canyon not opening until 10. Carpets count.

But it brought back good memories of Doc No. He is in the top 5 of my “graceful skiers” list. On one of our '04 / '05 movies I track him through the bumps somewhere, I'm following in a groomed track on his right. His head was moving less than mine. So smooth. I'll see if I can find & post that ...

The new lodge is sure looking pretty. Too bad they don't appear to have fully functional snowmaking on North Ridge. Show of hands to who would prefer working snowmaking to a pretty lodge? You, me and probably everyone else on this forum. We'd also prefer they let us slide off Skye Peak tomorrow ins...
