How Cold?

I had planned to bring my 4 yr old up to ministars this weekend but I am concerned about the temperature for him.

Re: NO FAMILY FRIENDLY KIDS PROGRAMS HERE

It's sad what is happening to the Kid's programs. My oldest son was in the 7 yr old Hopefuls program and had a blast. he will continue this year. My youngest son turned 4 this last April and I was going to have him attend Ministars this Winter ( about 17 days) but with the elimination of the Bobby I...

Bubba,

Try the Volkl AC 30 and the Fischer RX Fire 8. Nice skis for typical K conditions.

Let us know how you like them.

Don't forget a full face mask for the kids. Get a pair of googles that fit with the mask or use a needle and thread to stich up exposed areas between the mask and googles. Frostbite is a big concern with the kid's and can quickly ruin a ski day. Chaz P.S. 2 pairs of Mittens and socks are a must.Ski ...

Dis and Doc, I had the oportunity to take some lessons from Doug. He is a great instructor. Heavy focus on drills. I saw more improvement from his teaching than any other instructor. Pico is perfect for kids as long there is snow. I have had my Son in Ministars there for 2 years. The student teacher...

Pico Ski Club?

I am still trying to figure what I am going to do with my Son's this winter in terms of skiing. At my Ski Club meeting a member suggested checking out the Pico Ski Club. Does anybody belong to the club? What's the Club like? How are the programs? People? How does it compare to the Killington Ski Clu...

I am making more Phone calls to Killington to voice my displeasure.
Does anybody have the email address of Killington/Powder management?

Who can we contact at the local papers?

P.S how is KSC managing this?
What does KSC Management say?

Im In!

I would rather give my $$$ to a young aspiring K.S.C. racer .
It's too bad my son really loved the Pico Ski School.

What about the Killington Ski Club?
How are the programs for Kid's?
I cant make it up evey weekend is that a problem?

This could be another option?

I tried to call the Ski School and they were not in today. I will follow up tomorrow. Reservations said the prices were correct. Maybe I missed it but I did not see a discount for having your own equipment? I will push to speak to whom ever sets the rates. I encourage others to also call, email etc.....

I allways put my son at Pico. The ski school is much smaller. My son knows all the instructers names and the teacher student ratio is 2-3 to 1.

Last year Ski school was the same price at both areas.

It's unfair.

Skiing is a great family sport.

There is only so much money.
