outside of that, stick around a few days, it gets borrrrrring,
not near the character and diversity of K.
plus no access road life, no gondi's to hide in on bitter cold windy days, no
Rutland if you need stuff.

I don't knock other ski venues because I try to have fun whenever I ski and I have enjoyed many a day at Killington but to say Sugarbush lacks character makes me wonder if you have ever been there. Seriously , even when the rock is not open , which in my 10 years of ownership at 'da bush has been rare , there is so much there for every ability and style it boggles the mind. When I drive into that valley and see that mountain my heart does a flip. It is just plain beautiful! ; }

It would be be my pleasure. BTW , I ran into Sprite on Monday. Took a run on Castlerock Run and then Middle Earth. I think she liked it. Too bad my back tweaked out on me earlier in the day or I might have stuck around for Rumble! ; }

hey ladi - I didn't say it "lacks character", put your glasses on.
I'm glad you love Sugarbush, that's your home mountain, cool.
The folks around K think it's cool too, for a change of pace day trip with a gas station coupon.

Well , I do squint , but " not near " kinda seems the same as lacking to me. Semantics can get you into all sorts of trouble. But as I said every mountain has character or "characters" as the case may be. ; } It's all good.

Free wings? Not many HH freebies in the valley that I know of now that the Blue Tooth is gone but the future is yet TBD. We have a new vibe goin' on and it is very exciting but undefined. With the rumored sale of K you may experience the same ...hopefully, renaissance. ; }

geez, I liked the Blue Tooth.. haven't been up for 2 years I guess?

I find it funny that Sugarbush was THE place in the 60's... when travel had to be even more challenging with cars and roadways of the day.. yet I'll bitch about the extra drive time in this day and age of improved everything. call me a wuss, go ahead. I do love those mtns though.

I know this is redundant but i got hooked on killington in the mid eightys .I would get free vouchers in the mail and we would ski to the end of the season. Ive seen the stats on this board but I swear we skied june 21 in 92.I know june skiing is done but I hope the new owners will keep the cheap pass and send me a couple vouchers.
