Apples or Oranges?
Stale or Fresh?
Buy a pass and ski were you think it is worth it.

A half pipe with 14' walls would be nice for everyone to learn and enjoy and 150' long would see more activity.

Re: groomed vs ungroomed
Has anyone ever skied before grooming came of age? It use to be an adventure and a challenge rather then a race to the bottom. Trails were trails, learn to ski un-groomed a become a better skier when possible.

Re: The "S" is forming
Use a smaller trail the SS. Upper Down Draft was great you don't need a trail the size of SS for late season skiing and riding.jimmywilson69 wrote:the most cost effective thing would be to blow as much snow as possible when it's frigid cold. That was derailed this year due to the challenging snow season.

Re: Okemo - $99 Spring skiing pass
It's skiing and riding at a good price. Even though it's a Northern banana belt resort they do have a strong customer base that works for them. Okemo is Okemo that does really well in Vermont.

You get what you get at Okemo and at the K. Okemo is consistent and the K it's pot luck at the times. Okemo can recoup quicker during thaw freeze cycles for sure. Enjoy where ever you go. Okemo is consistent because it's flat as a pancake - Killington spruces up Bloodshed and Ramshead very well - b...

Re: Otter Ski Patrol is Dead
Sad, thanks to all of the Otter Ski Patrollers over the many years at Pico. Had the great chance to work with many and be friends with many. Other than Birdeye's, Pico is where I learned how to ski, it was my daycare center when my dad went to work and later worked there myself. Hat's off to all of ...

Re: renovations & spring build on supe
Impressive. Killington should be able to stay open long after the others have melted to mud. I'm willing to buy a few beers at the UBar if that's what it takes to keep SS open a while longer in the spring. Anyone else notice the interesting dynamic? Question/discussion about "Renovation" ...
