Re: Any recent news on the Killington Village Six Peaks Proj
So what happens if they build this village?? Does that mean they have to give back more terrain/trails ?? Think about it to put a new South Ridge Lift they had to permanently close Juggernaut. To interconnect with Pico for years they been trying to do that meant half the Sunrise trails and half the ...

Re: Mountain Improvements
The only bummer is that people still need to take the agonizing Northbrook chair out of Needles to get to Snowshed or K1. Snowshed Crossover goes only halfway. It should really be named Needles Crossover, since it still will not get you to Snowshed. Using the Needles Quad and or even the Gondola St...

Re: Killington to Permanently Close Upper Juggernaut
I know people may laugh at this, but this actually makes me quite sad. Juggernaught was one of the few trails at Killington I have never skied (along with Juggernaught Too, Rendevous, Yodeler, Sassfifras and Solitude) In fact for the last two winters it has been my intention to ski it, but it seeme...

Re: Conditions Report - WTF
The conditions report this morning recommended skiers head to Outer Limits first thing to enjoy the freshly groomed slope. My wife headed straight down from the peak first run to enjoy a groomed OL run. It was an early April Fool's joke by someone on the staff. Wife cursed Killington the whole way ...

Re: Northern New Jersey Restaurant Recommendations?
Favorite restaurant up North Jersey is The Walpack Inn in Layton, NJ it’s a must go to. It’s a rustic mountain style it gets crowded so get there at 4 pm. Not really sure how long the drive is from Mahwah from Rt. 17. It’s near US HWY 206 I guess you can just look it up if your interested.

Re: Sunday River To Fire Resort Record 349 Guns Tonight?
ummmmm if even if he's joking I still have my opinion. and yes they tore down the damaged part K1 base lodge and the rest is still standing, so I shouldn't have said lodges. But I'm curious to see the new peak lodge if it was really worth building a a high end new one. Then again I'm not a pro at an...

Re: Sunday River To Fire Resort Record 349 Guns Tonight?
Why all the hate for Sunday River? The place is da bomb. Sunday River is the king of the east. Get used to it. Long Live Sunday River. I agree there catching up to Big K My opinion , They are the next Killington. SR is always upgrading every year, better and better adding things, and K is always do...

Re: South Ridge Area now called "K1 Express Gondola Area"
I don't know but if someone else takes over running Killington after Chris Nyberg, someones got alot of mess to clean up. Thats all I have to say. What've we got so far? *Took out south ridge. *Demolished Peak Lodge. *We got an umbrella. I'll add More to the list *Skye Peak Great Eastern traffic di...
