Re: Sugarbush might try for a May 16th closing
Mother Nature is starting to take her toll with the r*in, wind, fog and warmer temperatures. So just to make sure that everyone has a good final experience if we can't continue past his weekend (which we will try to do) we are offering free skiing on Sunday. Both Saturday and Sunday look like great ...

Re: Report from Sugarbush
Thank you for turning out yesterday and helping us celebrate the final day of the season. At 5pm we were the last lift spinning in the Northeast. My teammates loved being the last and we had a lot of fun yesterday as well. Come visit this summer. Golf begins May 8th and our other summer activities (...

Re: sugarbush & jay peak open this weekend
We are doing a $39 two day ticket and $29 if you bring a 08/09 season pass from another area. We are also raffling off an all-mountain 09/10 season pass at 5pm on Sunday. Just register at the ticket window when you buy a ticket or present you Sugarbush season pass or Sugarcard to register. Hopefully...

I think we have some pretty good values at Sugarbush too! All the details are posted now on sugarbush.com. Hope to keep going as long as last Spring too.

Re: Sugarbush Experience: Whats Good & Whats Bad
Spin and Win, I am not sure when you were here, at what time and when you were on the slopes, but I have to respectfully disagree. There is no question that the snowmaking system at Killington that Press Smith installed and the unlimited access to water makes Killington's snowmaking system terrific....

Re: Conversation with Killington rep at Albany Ski Expo
As an owner and/or manager of a ski area it is sometimes really frustrating to read a lot of what is posted on blogs like this. But I learned a long time ago that perception is reality and it is best to address criticism head on. If facts are wrong correct them. If criticism is justified accept it. ...

Youth and College are the same price at Sugarbush. $219 at Mount Ellen and $319 for All-Mountain. Just FYI!

Re: Killington's upcoming 50th Anniversary
I didn't realize it was Killington's 50th too! Sugarbush opened for business on December 25, 1958 and the original lift ticket was $5.50. We too are going to have a celebration the weekend of December 12th. This is actually great that two Vermont resorts with a rich history are celebrating 50 years....

Re: thank you SUGARBUSH!
Thanks to all of you for venturing north. We really enjoyed having some fun and meeting new friends! I hate to say it, but I did put my skis away yesterday, went for a run this morning and took out the golf clubs today, but in less than 200 days we should have lift accessed skiing and riding again u...
